UK Distributor for Easy-Laser
We are the authorised UK distributor for Easy-Laser alignment systems, based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Our stainless steel shims are manufactured to exacting standards for accurate positioning of rotating machinery.
All shims are held in stock at our UK Midlands warehouse, allowing for rapid dispatch across the country. We supply maintenance engineers, OEMs, and industrial contractors working with motors, pumps, compressors, and other rotating equipment.
Our product range covers five standard profiles from 50mm to 200mm, plus complete Shimcases for field service work. Each shim is manufactured from stainless steel with permanent thickness markings for reliable identification.

Five Standard Profiles
Pre-cut shims in sizes from 50mm × 50mm (Profile A) through to 200mm × 200mm (Profile E). Slot widths range from 16mm to 55mm to accommodate various bolt sizes.
- Profile A: 50 × 50mm, 16mm slot
- Profile B: 75 × 75mm, 22mm slot
- Profile C: 100 × 100mm, 32mm slot
- Profile D: 125 × 125mm, 45mm slot
- Profile E: 200 × 200mm, 55mm slot
Ten Thicknesses
Each profile is available in ten thicknesses from 0.05mm to 3.00mm, supplied in packs of 10 pieces. This range allows precise shimming adjustments for most alignment requirements.

Shimcases
Complete field service kits containing 140 shims in protective cases. The ESC-AB covers profiles A and B; the ESC-CD covers profiles C and D.

Quality and Manufacturing
Stainless Steel
All shims are manufactured from stainless steel. This grade offers excellent corrosion resistance and maintains its properties across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for most industrial environments.
Factory Precision
Unlike hand-cut shims, our factory-made shims are perfectly flat and burr-free with rounded corners. Each piece is manufactured to consistent tolerances, ensuring reliable thickness across the entire surface.
Permanent Markings
Every shim carries permanent thickness identification that remains legible throughout its service life. This eliminates confusion when working with multiple thicknesses and ensures traceability for quality control purposes.
Extraction Tabs
All shims feature extraction and insertion tabs for easy positioning and removal. This design allows adjustment without fully loosening anchor bolts, reducing the time required for alignment procedures.
